    The last CIA spymaster of the first hour, Peter Sichel began his intelligence career as an OSS operative, served as CIA chief of station in Berlin and Hong Kong, and worked in Washington as the CIA Head of Operations for Germany and Eastern Europe during the Eisenhower administration. As CEO of Sichel Wines, he is the creator of the Blue Nun wine brand, one of the largest international wine brands in the world. Additionally he served as President of the OSS Society.

  • Kartika Soekarno

    Daughter of President Sukarno, the first President of Indonesia who was the target of numerous CIA overthrow attempts. She is the founder of The Kartika Soekarno Foundation for Indonesian Children (KSF) designed to keep young children in school during the period of severe economic hardship.

    Grandson of Jacobo Arbenz, the 25th President of Guatemala, who was ousted in a CIA coup in 1953. He is a human rights activist and a medical doctor.

  • Peter Grose

    Deputy director of policy planning at the State Department in the Carter administration, Grose worked as a foreign and diplomatic correspondent for the New York Times and as the executive editor of Foreign Affairs Magazine. He was a fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and is the author of the critically acclaimed Gentleman Spy: The Life of Allen Dulles.

    John Hadden Jr. is the son of the CIA case officer John Hadden who served with Peter Sichel in Berlin. Hadden Jr. is the author of his father’s biography, “Conversations with a Masked Man”.

    Bettina Sichel is the oldest daughter of Peter Sichel, and of the fifth generation to work in the Sichel family wine business.

  • Sylvia Sichel

    The youngest daughter of Peter Sichel, Sylvia is a screenwriter and professor in the Film & Television department at Tisch School, New York University.

  • Stella Sichel

    A former Wall Street Analyst and Real Estate Broker, Stella is Peter Sichel’s second wife and the mother of his three daughters.
